Dior Terra (786) Eyeshadow Palette Review

Hey beauties! Today, I am featuring, the limited edition Dior Terra (786) Eyeshadow Palette, which is a part of the Dior Wild Earth Summer 2019 Collection. This collection launched a while ago and Dior Terra (768) Eyeshadow Palette stood out to me. Of course, Sienna is a pretty one too, but it is a bit light for me. I loved the brown earthy tones in Dior Terra (786) Eyeshadow palette.

Product Description – The iconic 5 Couleurs palette explores a range of tawny colours for a natural and luminous ombre effect. An ornamental motif, inspired by hand-hammered metal, marks a wild and sensual beauty.

Dior Terra (786) Eyeshadow palette features five warm, neutral shades, that are always loved. It is a beautiful mix of earthy tones like copper, champagne, golden and taupe. I love the warm as well as the cool tones of this palette. With all the shimmer shades, in this palette, it is more like sultry neutrals. It is a stand alone palette, however, to create more deeper and creative looks it will be more versatile when paired with mattes.

The packaging of the Dior Terra (786) Eyeshadow Palette, is the classic deep indigo blue palette. It is similar to the blush palette. I love that it is small and sleek with a nice mirror inside. It also has two applicators :-). Another beautiful travel friendly palette. However, I wish they did something different to the packaging for their limited edition palettes. 🙂

The eyeshadows inside are embossed with a beautiful hand-hammered metal/vessel, that is absolutely untouchable. The middle shadow has the classic CD logo embossed. It took me a while and a lot of courage to ruin the beauty of this palette. (All teary eyed!) hehehe.

I have to mention that the formula of the eyeshadows is extremely soft, smooth and creamy. The pigmentation is lovely and blends like a dream. While it also lasts a long time on the lids. There are no names to the shadows. So I have the swatches of them in order of top left, right, center and bottom left and right.

Shades

Terra #1 – This is a medium brown shade with some warmth and metallic sheen. It is almost like a light bronze color.

Terra #2 – A light champagne with a hint of pink to it. It is like a beautiful highlighter. It feels dense and firmly pressed.

Terra #3 – The middle shade in the palette. It is a warm golden with some peachy-orange undertone. The texture of this one is very soft and smooth.

Terra #4 – A pure rich bronze shade with a warmer brownish undertone. This one also has the metallic sheen to it. The consistency again is very smooth and creamy.

Terra #5 – A deep mauve-y plum shade. The finish is pearly metallic. Very pretty.

Overall, I am very impressed by the quality and lovely color selection in this palette. However, the shades in this palette are not that unique. These type of neutrals we already own. But there is something about this palette that is just gorgeous. Maybe it’s just me, because this is my first Dior eyeshadow palette. 🙂 But it is a beautiful neutral to create smoky as well as sophisticated monochromatic eyes. The shades are universally flattering. It is a great one to have in your purse and can take you from office to party easily. If you love neutral browns and taupes, you should not miss this limited edition palette. Besides if you are a fan of shimmer shadows like me, you will definitely love this palette. Besides, it is easy to use palette. I am glad to have the Dior Terra (786) Eyeshadow Palette in my collection.
