Hi! Face mask Yo! But today I have Biotique Bio Fruit Whitening Depigmentation & Tan Removal Face Pack to talk about. This mask is from India. Since I love masking, I make sure I buy loads when I visit Bombay. Because there are so many new and old brands that have some really great all natural herbal face masks. Clay masks have been very effective for my oily skin. It has helped me get rid of acne/pimples, fade away dark spots, keep my oils in control, deep cleanse my pores and even out my skin tone. That is the reason I always use clay masks. Let me tell you more about Biotique Bio Fruit whitening depigmentation & tan removal face pack.

Biotique is one of my favorite brands. I have used a lot of products by this brand. Well, that was a long time ago. But I remember loving them. Especially their face masks, and I have used several jars of this fruit pack, when their packaging was different. It was always there in my masking stash. 🙂 Now I am getting nostalgic.

About the Brand – Biotique is an all natural skincare brand from India. It was founded in 1992 by Vinita Jain. Product Description – This luxurious whitening & de-pigmentation pack is blended with the juices of pineapple, tomato, lemon and papaya fruit to visibly lighten skin for a fairer, flawless look. With regular use, skin reclaims its soft, smooth, youthful tone and texture.

The packaging is a small plastic jar, with a twist open lid and a stopper to prevent product from spilling out. All the details about the product is printed on the packaging. I wish it came with a spatula.

The mask inside it reddish in color. The texture and consistency is creamy smooth. It is not too thick or runny. It applies smoothly. And has a nice herbal fruity scent. I am a big fan of such spa like scents in face packs.

The ingredient list is simple and all natural.

Multani Mitti – Multani mitti means fullers earth is a form of a clay. This is one of my all time favorite to use in face masks. I love it for its excellent exfoliating properties. The ingredient is gentle on your face, but, at the same time, efficiently removes dead cells from the top layers of your skin and unclogs the pores. This is one of the ways in which it prevents the formation of acne.

Fruits and Fruit juices – Fruit has been the “juice of health and vitality” since the beginning of time, rich in essential vitamins, nutrients and natural skin brighteners

Yasad Bhasma – In Ayurveda, Yashad Bhasma is basically zinc oxide prepared naturally by the fine processing of pure Zinc metal with Aloe Vera Juice. … After the transformation of the base metal into Bhasma, the resulting ash undergoes several tests -known as Bhasma Pariksha in Ayurveda. ( I googled it) .

Application

I apply the Biotique Bio Fruit whitening & depigmentation mask evenly on my clean face. Leave it on for about 20-30 minutes. Because our skin absorbs all the goodness of any skincare in that time. When the mask is dry, I wash it off with running water. I love how my skin feels afterwards. My pores are less obvious and my skin feels softer, brighter and smoother. I like when we see instant results after using a face mask.

After using this face pack twice sometimes thrice a week, it significantly improved my skin. My skin looks brighter and glowing. The couple acne marks have faded and my skin is more even toned. The texture of my skin has improved over time and my pores shrunk. I want to mention that I also use a lot of other product in my skincare. On a regular basis I love using different face masks. It takes time to see results while using any skincare product. But using face masks on a regular basis definitely helps.

Overall, it is a fabulous face mask and I love using it. Since it is an all natural ayurvedic herbal mask, it is free of harsh chemicals and preservatives. It feels like a home made mask. I have loved it over the years and will always bring along backups with me.

I highly recommend trying this mask. However, don’t expect some magic to happen. Skincare is a very slow process and it takes time to see definitive results.
