Hi! Skincare must be about taking care of your skin from top to toe. Today, I have 4 affordable drugstore body moisturizers for silky smooth skin. Skin is the largest organ of human body, which needs proper care. Like face our body also needs hydration. We spend a lot of time and money on our face with expensive serums. creams, face masks. In the process we tend to forget or ignore to take care of our body. I used to be careless regarding my body, but not any more. After I started using body lotions, my skin is healthier and better than it used to be.

Why you need to moisturize your body?

Dry dehydrated skin looks unattractive, unhealthy and feels rough. Neutrogena Body Oil – This is one of my favorite body oil from the drugstore. The light weight formula does not feel heavy or greasy on my oily skin. I mostly use it after shower to lock in the moisture. It absorbs quickly and leaves my skin well hydrated for the day. However, it may not feel enough if you have super dry skin. Since my skin is oily it is just right for me. There are two versions available. One has a mild fragrance, but there is an unscented version available too.

Nivea night body serum – I love using this body firming serum. It helps to repair, nourish and whitens dull and sun damaged skin while you are sleeping. Enriched with anti-melanin complex, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Licorice etc. are great for noticeably healthier and brighter even toned skin. The light weight texture is truly AMAZING. I have used several tubes and always re-purchase. I have shared all the details about the Nivea night white body firming serum. Love the large tube and is also very affordable. A must try.

Dove baby lotion – Dove is another brand that I trust a lot. All their products are gentle on the skin and feel amazing. The sensitive skin one is unscented while the rich lotion has a mild fragrance. These lotions are also very smooth, creamy and absorbs quickly. With the thicker consistency, a little goes a long way. You get a lot of product for lesser price.

Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion – If you have questions like is Aveeno good for your face? The answer is yes! This moisturizing lotion is clinically proven to the improve the health and quality of dry skin. The combination of Colloidal oatmeal and rich emollients, it keeps the skin hydrated all day long. Daily use makes your skin looking healthy, soft and smooth. It is also fragrance free and noncomedogenic. It does not feel greasy on the body but if you have oily skin use sparingly on your face because the formula is richer and more nourishing. However, great for dry skin.

Overall, these are my 4 affordable drugstore body moisturizers I consider some of the best, in terms of price and efficiency. I have been using these regularly for more than a year, however the Neutrogena body oil is fairly a recent purchase. But after using it for a couple of weeks, I had to include it here. Over time the texture, tone and laxity of my skin has improved significantly. I highly recommend trying them. There is no need to spend extra $$ on body moisturizers. The drugstore ones are great.
